The summer is underway here in New London, and I'm having a grand time.  I was cast as Amalia in "She Loves Me", which is pretty much a dream come true.  I'm working hard to make this the best performance I can give...I just hope to give to others what I got from the show the first time I saw it...I fell completely in love with it.  I can only hope to do justice to a marvelously written musical.  We open on Tuesday!

Here's ticket information if you're in New England and HAPPEN to want to see a musical.  And below is the publicity photo with Jed Alevizos, playing Georg.

I am a college graduate!...Last few weeks in good ol' Duluth were strange, wonderful, scary, sad, satisfying, and perfect. OH. And weird...

But life rolls on, I'm in my hometown for 10 days packing and prepping for the move out east...I am wisdom-teeth-less as of this morning. I have a wee bit of a chipmunk face, and I'll be all hyped up on Prednisone tomorrow...but generally, healing ain't so bad at'all. Happy to have those suckers outta there.

Twins game on Friday, more and more packing and organizing, then it's off on May 27th...one-way ticket. Weeeeird. But good!

New photos up in the Photos section from Much Ado. (Only three shows left...can't believe it!)

Here are some highlights from the review by Paul Brissett in the Duluth News Tribune:

"It’s a delight to see Brook in a romantic role after several seasons of playing nerds, geeks and sanctimonious old ladies, though always with the spunk that also serves Beatrice so well.
Brook and Violante wield Shakespeare’s trademark verbal foils with a glee and deftness that turns each encounter into a veritable dance, its intensity making it clear to everyone but themselves how much in love they are.  But neither needs the other to command the stage...

Here's the trailer for "Much Ado About Nothing", opening Thursday, April 23rd!

NETC was an absolute ride! After dashing around the Crowne Plaza Hotel to 10 different callbacks, it turned out to be an exhausting, but wonderful day. After a busy, fabulous week in New York, I accepted a job at the New London Barn Playhouse in New Hampshire!  I will be there June 1st-September 6th, performing in a variety of wonderful shows...I look forward to meeting my fellow 15 company members, and spending 3 months in beautiful New Hampshire.

But first, to finish off my college career...Much Ado is heaven to rehearse.

Well, thanks again for stopping by!
